Use
The Thatch Roof is a solid block that works better than the Straw Block as a stone-age roof material.It blocks rain and mobs and gives +2 cold resistance bonus to players standing 10 blocks below.
Trivia
The Straw Block was previously called Thatch.
There is no peak/ridge version of the thatch roof block. This might change if Dunkleosteus sees fit.
