Obtaining
Wool is obtained by shearing Mouflon or Sheep that have been familiarized. Mouflon will only grow wool when it is cold, whereas Sheep will grow wool year-round.
The mouflon or sheep can be sheared with either shears or a knife. Using shears will give more wool.
Alternatively, sheepskin can be scraped in the crafting grid with a knife and will yield different amounts of wool depending on the size of the sheepskin.

Wool Yarn
Using the spindle in a crafting grid with wool produces eight wool yarn.
