Obtaining
Oil lamps can be crafted by using 1 ingot of the desired metal type on an anvil.
Valid metal types are Gold, Platinum, Rose Gold, Silver, Sterling Silver or Blue Steel.

Usage
Oil lamps can be used as a source of light. They emit a light level of 15 (which is one more light level than torches) and will burn for 2,000 in-game hours by default. Blue steel lamps filled with lava will burn infinitely.
Filling a lamp is done by
Right Click on the (container with) fluid you wish to fill it with, or through the barrel/large vessel interface. Lamps can be filled with any liquid, but not all liquids will work as fuel.
