Obtaining
Jute can be found growing in the wild. Harvest the plant to obtain jute as well as jute seeds. Jute requires a minimum temperature of 10℃ to grow, and a minimum temperature of 5℃ to stay alive.
Usage
Jute is soaked in a water barrel to produce jute fibers, which are used to craft rope. A full water barrel can process up to 14 jute at a time.

The rope is used similar to a vanilla lead. It is also required to train a horse: attach a rope to the horse and hold it in your hand before mounting.
